The Argentina attacker lined up from a dead ball outside the box, and struck a brilliant left-footed effort to find the back of the net. His second goal of the season, the 24-year-old delivered the ball over the head of Toronto FC's Sean Johnson. The strike was the momentum NYCFC needed to get things going, as they added another in the second half to hold onto a 2-1 victory.

The first goal conceded by Toronto FC this season, Rodriguez's effort was a stunning goal that would leave the best goalkeepers in the world stranded. The Argentine was once dubbed as the next big thing in MLS, but had a strugglesome 2023 campaign, with seven goals and six assists across the entire season. Through four matches now, though, he's on track to better his scoring record.
